Geopolitical MMO simulation

I have developed Polareg in my spare time alongside university studies since approximately 2023.I developed the original version without AI. I handle development, operations, promotion and user support, using feedback to guide improvements. The politics and economics simulation also has its own PWA app on Google Play.

Development and infrastructure

The application uses PHP and SQL with MySQL / MariaDB; the frontend uses JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX and MapLibre. On Fedora, I manage Nginx and Apache, PHP-FPM, Podman / Docker and Bash automation. I implement Revolut API and Stripe API and manage FTP, email, redirects and Cloudflare.

Alongside my software projects, I study history and English at the Technical University of Liberec. I’m interested in development roles and project collaboration, with work spanning frontend, backend and server administration.

How I work

AI as a tool, responsibility for the result

AI is part of my everyday development workflow. It helps me test ideas faster and handle routine work, leaving more time for application design and product quality. Prompting alone is not enough. I take responsibility for the code, its review, stability and ongoing maintenance.
